Finding Wasgij Puzzle Solutions (Jigsaw)

Wasgij (Jigsaw Puzzles Direct) does not publish official solution images—solving the "future/concept/mystery" image is the puzzle. However, you can find help:

Legitimate Sources

  1. Box Back "Peek": Most Wasgij boxes show a small corner of the solution art (5–10%). Use for color/edge matching.
  2. YouTube: Search "Wasgij [Title/Number] solution" or "Wasgij [Title] time-lapse". Channels: Jigsaw Puzzling, Karen Puzzles, Puzzle Guy often complete them.
  3. Facebook Groups: "Wasgij Jigsaw Puzzles Fans", "Jigsaw Puzzle Swap & Solutions". Members post completed photos.
  4. Puzzle Review Blogs: Jigsaw Junkies, Puzzling Times, The Puzzle Doctor — reviews often include final image.
  5. Jigsaw Puzzles Direct (Support): Email [email protected] with puzzle name/number. They may provide a low-res solution for verification.

Solving Strategy (No Spoilers)

  • Sort by "Wrongness": Wasgij images depict what happens next or what they see. Look for anachronisms, reversed text, mirrored logic.
  • Edge First: Standard. Solution border often differs from box art border.
  • Color Clusters: Group by palette shifts (e.g., fire = orange/red in solution vs calm blue on box).
  • Humor/Detail: Wasgij relies on visual gags. Spot the absurdity → place that section.

Types & Difficulty

  • Original (Red Box): "What happens next?" — Easiest logic.
  • Destiny (Blue Box): "Future scene" — Harder.
  • Mystery (Green Box): "What do they see?" — Perspective flip. Hardest.
  • Imagine / Christmas / Retro: Variants.

Respect the artist (Graham Thompson, Bill Trickey, etc.) — don't mass-share full hi-res solutions. Use for personal unstuck only.
