How to Play Call of Duty 2 Single Player: Install, Launch, Campaign Basics & Tips

1. Install

• PC: Insert disc → run setup. Patch to v1.3 (official). Or buy on Steam/GOG (pre-patched).
• Xbox 360/PS2: Insert disc → install to HDD (optional). Apply any title updates.

2. Launch

• PC: Desktop shortcut or Steam library.
• Console: Game library → Start.

3. Start Campaign

• Main Menu → Campaign → Choose theater: American, British, Soviet (each 3–4 missions).
• Select Difficulty: Recruit / Regular / Hardened / Veteran.

4. Gameplay Basics
