Starting New Game in Petz: Dogz Pack (Nintendo DS)

Standard procedure for most DS Petz/Ubisoft titles:

1. Insert Cartridge → Power On DS
2. Tap "New Game" on Touch Screen Main Menu
3. Select Language
4. Choose Breed (Scroll Left/Right or Tap arrows)
5. Name your Dog (Keyboard / Handwriting)
6. Choose Gender (Male/Female)
7. Customize: Coat Color, Markings, Eye Color (if available)
8. Confirm → Watch Intro Cutscene → Tutorial (Feeding, Petting, Training)

If "New Game" is Missing

• Save file exists → Options → Delete Save Data (Hold specific buttons on Title Screen: often L+R+A+B+X+Y or check manual)
• Cartridge contacts dirty → Clean with 99% IPA

Note: Petz: Dogz Pack (2008) is a compilation of Dogz + Catz. Ensure you select the "Dogz" icon on the main menu if it's a dual-game cart.
