How to Save in GTA San Andreas

Manual Save

1. Approach a save pickup (floppy disk icon) at safehouses.
2. Press Triangle (PS2) / Y (Xbox) / F5 (PC default).
3. Select a slot, name it, confirm.

Auto-Save

• Triggers after most missions, property purchases, and some side activities.
• Overwrites the "Auto" slot (shown with a circular arrow).

Quick Save (PC Only)

Press F6 (default) anywhere to create a "Quick Save" slot. Useful before risky stunts.

Tips

• Keep 2–3 manual slots rotating to avoid corruption.
• Save before casino, gym, or long missions.
• On PS2/Xbox, ensure memory card/HDD has >500 KB free.
