Finding Old Miniclip Games: Where to Look in 2024

Miniclip's original Flash library is largely gone from their site after Flash's 2020 death. Here's where to hunt:

1. Miniclip.com (Current Site)

• Many hits ported to HTML5/Unity: 8 Ball Pool, Agame.com titles, Gravity Guy, Commando.
• Search bar + "classic" tag sometimes surfaces old ports.

2. Flash Preservation Projects (Best for Originals)

• Flashpoint (by BlueMaxima): #1 choice. Offline archive of 100,000+ Flash games/apps. Includes Miniclip titles. Download "Ultimate" (700 GB) or "Infinity" (on-demand). bluemaxima.org/flashpoint
• Ruffle.rs: Open-source Flash emulator (WASM). Works in-browser for many AS2/AS3 games. Drag .swf onto ruffle.rs/demo/.
• Internet Archive: Flash collection — playable in-browser via Ruffle.

3. Other Portals That Hosted Miniclip Games

• Kongregate, Armor Games, Newgrounds, AddictingGames, NotDoppler: Often licensed Miniclip titles. Search game name + site.
• Poki, CrazyGames, Y8: May have HTML5 ports.

4. Direct .swf Hunting

• Google: "game name" filetype:swf or site:miniclip.com "game name".
• Download .swf → play via Flashpoint or standalone Adobe Flash Player Projector (archived).

5. Mobile Ports

• Many Miniclip hits are free on iOS/Android: 8 Ball Pool, Soccer Stars, Agar.io, Flip Master, Rail Rush.

Legal & Safety Note

• Flashpoint / Archive.org are preservation-focused, generally tolerated.
• Random .swf sites often bundle malware/adware. Stick to Flashpoint.
• Miniclip owns IP; they've not open-sourced most classics.

Quick Start: Flashpoint Infinity

1. Download 200 MB launcher.
2. Search "Miniclip" or game title.
3. Click "Play"—downloads .swf + dependencies on demand.

This is the closest you'll get to "the old Miniclip" experience.
