Modern Warfare II (2022) – No Co-op Campaign (But These Modes Exist)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022) does not have a traditional 2-player co-op campaign. The campaign is single-player only.

Co-op / Multiplayer Alternatives in MWII (2022)

• Special Ops (Co-op Missions): 2-player (online) / 3-player (Survival). Separate missions, not story campaign. Difficulty scales. Rewards XP/Stars for kits.
• Raids (Season 1+): 3-player co-op puzzle/combat missions (Atomgrad, etc.). Weekly rotation. Requires completion of specific challenges to unlock.
• DMZ (Extraction Mode): Squad-based (3) open-world extraction. PvPvE. Persistent progression.
• Multiplayer (PvP): 6v6, 10v10, 32v32 (Ground War). Party up to 6.
• Private Match: Custom rules, bots (Recruit/Regular/Hardened/Veteran) – solo/co-op practice.

MWII (2022) Verdict: Play Campaign solo (6–8 hrs, great set pieces). Then Special Ops / Raids / DMZ / MP with friends.
