The Sims 2 Cheats: Complete Guide

There isn't a single "cheat code" but a variety of cheats accessed via the console.

1. Enable Testing Cheats

Press Ctrl + Shift + C to open console. Type testingcheatsenabled true and press Enter. Repeat each new game.

This unlocks shift-click interactions on Sims and objects.

2. Money Cheats

• motherlode – Large amount of Simoleons.
• kaching – Medium amount.
• rosebud – Small amount.

3. Other Useful Cheats

• boolprop testingcheatsenabled true – Alternative enable method.
• moveobjects on – Place objects anywhere, even overlapping.
• unlockoutfits – All outfits available for purchase.

4. Shift-Click Interactions (After Enabling Testing Cheats)

• On a Sim: Age up, reset mood/needs, teleport to any lot.
• On an Object: Delete, change color, etc.

Warning: Cheats can cause game issues. Use sparingly and back up saves regularly.
