Project64 does not have a built-in folder/grouping feature for cheats. Here are practical workarounds:

• Open the game's .cht file in Notepad++ / VS Code.
• Use comment lines as headers: # [Folder: Infinite Items]
• Group codes under each header. Project64 ignores lines starting with #.

2. Spreadsheet Master List

• Columns: Game | Category | Code Name | Code | Notes
• Filter/sort by Category. Export filtered view as .cht for Project64.

3. Third-Party Cheat Managers

• Cheat Code Manager (CCM) – Old but handles .cht files with categories.
• RALibRetro / RetroArch: Load cores with built-in cheat menus (searchable, toggleable).

4. Project64 Built-ins

• Game-Specific .cht Files: Download pre-organized packs from Project64 forums or GitHub.
• Search (Ctrl+F): Works in the cheat window—name codes clearly (e.g., "Infinite Health [L+R]").
