Portal: Still Alive – No Official Cheat Codes, But PC Has Developer Console

There are no official cheat codes for Portal: Still Alive (Xbox 360 / PC).

Why

• Valve designs puzzles to be solved, not skipped.
• Console versions lack developer console (PC has sv_cheats 1 but disables achievements).
• Xbox 360 version has no cheat entry mechanism.

PC: Developer Console (Not "Cheats")

Enable in Options → Keyboard → Advanced → "Enable Developer Console". Press ~ → Commands:

• noclip – Fly through walls.
• god – Invincibility.
• give portal_gun – Get gun early.
• ent_fire !picker addoutput "classname prop_physics" – Fun physics.

Disables Achievements. Use sv_cheats 0 + restart to re-enable.

Better Ways to Enhance Play

• Community Chambers (PC): Thousands of free puzzles via Steam Workshop.
• Challenge Maps (Xbox/PC): Time trials, least portals, least steps.
• Mods (PC): Portal: Prelude, Portal Stories: Mel, Thinking with Time Machine – full campaigns.
• Speedrun Strats: Learn glitches (save-glitch, bunnyhop) – skill-based "cheats".

The puzzle is the game. Cheats skip the point.
