Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess – No "All Equipment" Cheat

There is no cheat code to instantly unlock all equipment in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii or GameCube). The game has no built-in cheat menu, and Action Replay / Gecko codes for "all items" are unstable—often freezing the game or corrupting the save because equipment flags are tied to story progress, dungeon flags, and cutscene triggers.

What You Can Do Instead

  • Action Replay / Gecko Codes (Use at Own Risk):
    • Infinite Rupees: Buy everything available in shops (still requires unlocking shops via progress).
    • Have Specific Item: Codes exist for individual items (Master Sword, Clawshot, Spinner, etc.) but must be activated after the story point where they're obtainable, or they break scripts.
  • New Game+ / Hero Mode (Wii U / HD Remaster only): Carries over wallet, heart containers, and some items—but not all equipment.
  • Speedrun / Glitch Knowledge: Techniques like Item Slide, Door Clip, Wrong Warp let runners sequence-break and collect items early. Requires high execution skill.
  • Play Normally: The game is designed so every item feels earned. The progression is the reward.

Why "All Items" Codes Break the Game

  • Equipment unlocks set global story flags. Forcing an item without its flag skips cutscenes, breaks dungeon logic, and can make later triggers impossible (e.g., Midna warps, Mirror Chamber).
  • Inventory UI has fixed slots; injecting items beyond capacity corrupts the save checksum.

Recommendation: Play the game as intended. If stuck, consult a walkthrough for the next dungeon—every tool is given exactly when needed.
