Call of Duty Cheat Codes – Why They Don't Exist

No official cheat codes exist for any Call of Duty game (including Call of Duty 1.2, likely meaning CoD 1 v1.2 patch or CoD 2).

Reasons

• Server-Authoritative Multiplayer: All logic runs on server; client can't inject cheats without detection.
• Anti-Cheat (Ricochet, etc.): Kernel-level drivers scan for memory manipulation.
• Fair-Play Design: CoD is competitive; cheats destroy the product.
• No Developer Support: Activision has never released cheat codes for the series.

What "Cheats" You See Online

• Trainers (SP Only): Memory editors for campaign (infinite health/ammo). Disable achievements, may crash.
• Mod Menus (MP): Hacks (aimbot, wallhack) – instant permaban on Ricochet-protected titles.
• Console Commands (PC SP): god, noclip – only in offline/devmode, not standard play.

Play Fair
