How to Activate Cheats in GTA 4 (All Platforms)

Unlike previous GTA titles, Grand Theft Auto IV does not use traditional button-combination cheat codes. Instead, cheats are entered via the in-game phone system.

Activation Method

1. Open the in-game phone (press Up on D-pad / T on PC).
2. Navigate to the Keypad.
3. Dial the cheat number (see below).
4. Press Call / Enter.
5. A confirmation message appears: "Cheat Activated."

Important Notes

• Achievements/Trophies are disabled for the current session after any cheat activation.
• Cheats are not saved — they must be re-entered each play session.
• Some cheats (like spawning vehicles) may not work during missions.
• PC players can also use the Simple Trainer mod for expanded options.
