Deleting a DSiWare title from System Memory or SD Card is permanent.
Consequences
Game Removed: Icon disappears from DSi Menu.
Save Data Deleted: All progress, high scores, settings erased.
Space Freed: Blocks returned to System Memory or SD Card.
No Recovery: No recycle bin; Nintendo does not restore deleted DSiWare.
How to Delete
System Settings → Data Management → DSiWare.
Select "System Memory" or "SD Card".
Choose the title → Delete → Confirm.
Before Deleting
Backup Saves (If Possible): Some DSiWare supports "Save Data Backup" to SD Card (System Settings → Data Management → Save Data Backup). Not all titles allow it.
Redownload? Wii Shop Channel closed 2019; impossible to redownload delisted titles. Keep if rare.
Note on Physical DS Carts
This applies only to DSiWare (digital). DS cartridge saves live on the cart; deleting DSiWare does not affect them.
