How to Delete Save Data in Nintendogs + Cats

You can't "delete" save data like a file—Nintendogs + Cats stores saves directly on the game cartridge. Here's how to start fresh:

Method: Start a New Game (Overwrites Save)

1. Launch the game.
2. On the title screen, select New Game.
3. Confirm when warned this will erase current progress.
4. Complete the initial setup (choose dog, name, etc.).

Result: Your old save is permanently replaced. All pets, items, money, and progress are gone.

Alternative: Transfer Pets to New Game (If Available)
