Can Nintendo Wii Games Play on Nintendo DS?

No. Wii games are not compatible with Nintendo DS systems.

Why They're Incompatible

• Different hardware: Wii uses PowerPC CPU + dedicated GPU; DS uses ARM processor + weaker GPU.
• Different media: Wii uses proprietary 12 cm discs; DS uses small cartridge cards.
• Different OS: Each system runs proprietary software designed exclusively for its architecture.

Note: The Nintendo 3DS (DS successor) also cannot play Wii games.
