Can You Use DS Download Play with Pokémon Diamond?

No, Pokémon Diamond does not support DS Download Play.

DS Download Play allowed single-cartridge multiplayer for certain titles, but Diamond (and all mainline Pokémon games) requires each player to have their own copy of the game for trading, battling, or joining the Union Room.
