Was The Sims 1 Released for Nintendo DS? No.

No, The Sims 1 was never released for the Nintendo DS.

The only mainline Sims title released on the platform was The Sims 2: Pets (2007). It's a standalone game focused on pet care and interaction, differing significantly from the PC original's life simulation scope.

Your Options for a Sims Experience on DS

• The Sims 2: Pets: Your only native option. Features pet creation, training, and mini-games.
• Homebrew/Emulation: Advanced users with custom firmware can run ports of the original PC The Sims via ScummVM, but this requires technical knowledge and owning the original game files.
• Other Platforms: For the classic The Sims 1 experience, you'll need a PC, Mac, or a console port like the GameCube/Xbox/PS2 versions of The Sims or The Sims Bustin' Out.
