Error 051099-1 indicates the DSi system update was interrupted or corrupted.

Common Causes

• Power loss / battery died during update.
• SD card removed or corrupted.
• Wi-Fi dropped mid-download.
• Wrong region update file (e.g., JP update on US console).
• Hardware fault (NAND, Wi-Fi module).

Fixes (In Order)

1. Retry Update: Fully charge battery (or use AC adapter). Stable Wi-Fi. Do not touch.
