No Minecraft for Nintendo DSi XL — Hardware Too Weak; Play on Switch Instead

No. Minecraft has never been released for the Nintendo DSi / DSi XL. The hardware (ARM9/ARM7 CPUs, 16 MB RAM, no GPU) cannot run it.

Minecraft launched on:

• Nintendo 3DS (2017, New 3DS only)
• Nintendo Switch (2017, full Bedrock edition)
• Wii U (2016)

The DSi XL predates Minecraft's console ports by years. For portable block-building today, Minecraft on Switch is the way.
