How to Sign into an Old Wii Shop Channel Account

If you own a Nintendo Wii console, you can find a variety of games to download on the online Wii Shop Channel. In the Wii Shop, you use Wii Points, a special currency, to purchase games that are not available anywhere else. Even if you have not used the Wii Shop Channel in a long time, you only need to click on its icon to access it again.

Instructions

      Turn on the Nintendo Wii system by pressing the "Power" button on the front of the console.

      Point the Wii Remote at the "Wii Shop Channel." This channel is typically located on the right side of the menu, unless you have moved it elsewhere.

      Press the "A" button. If your Wii is connected to the Internet, you are automatically taken to the Wii Shop.

      Purchase a game with your Wii Points by selecting the game with the "A" button. Choose "Download," then "Yes."
