Redownloading WildTangent Games: Platform Closed — Finding Games via Developers or Archives

WildTangent's game service (WildGames / WildTangent Games) shut down in 2014. You cannot redownload from their servers.

Where Games Might Be Now

1. Developer/Publisher Sites: Many WildTangent-exclusive titles were published by Oberon Media, Big Fish, GameHouse, or independent devs. Search "[Game Title] official site" or "[Game Title] Steam/GOG/Epic".
2. Steam / GOG / Epic / itch.io: Many casual games from that era were re-released (e.g., Fate, Tradewinds, Polar Bowler, Blasterball).
3. Big Fish Games App: Still active; hosts many former WildTangent titles (subscription or purchase).
4. Internet Archive (archive.org): Search "WildTangent" + game title. Some ISOs/installers archived. Scan for malware.
5. Physical Media: eBay / Etsy for "WildTangent CD-ROM" bundles (often Dell/HP/OEM recovery discs).

Compatibility Warning

• Games from 2000–2010 often require Windows XP/7, 32-bit, DirectX 7/9, SafeDisc/SecuROM DRM (broken on Win10/11).
• Use PCGamingWiki for fixes, dgVoodoo2 (DX wrapper), or run in VM (VirtualBox/VMware) with Windows XP.

Licensing

If you bought via WildTangent, your license may not transfer to Steam/GOG. Check if dev offers "cross-grade" or contact support with order email/receipt.
