Playing GTA Online with a Friend: Invites, Crews & Private Session Tips

No dedicated 2-player private lobby. GTA Online is a persistent shared world.

Best Way to Play Together

1. Both have active GTA Online access.
2. Add each other on Social Club.
3. Launch → join session.
4. Friends List (M key) → Invite to Session / Join Friend.

Tips for Duo Play

• Crew: Form a crew—easier to find each other.
• Private Session: Try joining one (often full).
• Lobby Finders: Sites listing smaller/private lobbies.

Randoms can still join your session. True isolation isn’t guaranteed.
