Playing GTA: San Andreas Online (PC) via SA-MP & MTA:SA

The original game has no official online mode. However, the PC community built robust multiplayer:

Popular Multiplayer Mods

• SA-MP (San Andreas Multiplayer): Hundreds of servers—RP, stunt, deathmatch, freeroam. sa-mp.com
• MTA:SA (Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas): More modern, scripting-heavy, better sync. mtasa.com

How to Join

1. Own a legitimate copy of GTA: SA on PC (Steam, Rockstar Launcher).
2. Download the mod client from the official site above.
3. Install, launch, browse servers, connect.

Safety

• Only download from the official sites—repacks often bundle malware.
• Use a throwaway password; server admins can see chat/logs.
• Single-player saves are untouched.

These mods keep San Andreas alive with thousands of daily players.
