Where to Find Games Online — By Platform

PC

• Steam: Largest library, sales, community.
• Epic Games Store: Free weekly games, exclusives.
• GOG: DRM-free, classics curated.
• itch.io: Indie, experimental, pay-what-you-want.
• Humble Bundle: Curated bundles, charity.

Mobile

• Google Play (Android), App Store (iOS), Amazon Appstore.

Browser / Web

• Kongregate, Armor Games, Newgrounds, Game Jolt, CrazyGames.

Free & Legal

• Epic free weekly, Prime Gaming, Steam free-to-play section, itch.io free tag.
• Open source: GitHub, SourceForge, itch.io (FOSS).

Discovery Tips

• Define genre, platform, budget, time commitment.
• Watch gameplay (YouTube, Twitch) — not trailers.
• Read reviews: Steam user reviews, Metacritic, OpenCritic.
• Follow curators: Steam curators, Reddit (r/gamingsuggestions, r/indiegames).
• Join Discords for genres you like.

Avoid: "Free download" sites for paid games — malware, legal risk, broken files.
