Is There a Cheat for Unlimited Walks in Nintendogs? No—And Cheats Ruin the Experience
No legitimate cheat exists, and using cheat devices (Action Replay, flashcarts) is strongly discouraged.
Why Cheats Harm the Experience
Core loop broken:Nintendogs is designed around the daily routine: walk → train → compete → earn money → buy items → bond. Infinite walks skip the time-gating that structures the game.
Save corruption: AR codes for "max walk stamina" or "infinite trainer points" frequently corrupt the .sav file, deleting all your dogs.
No online, but still: While there's no competitive online, StreetPass/Bark Mode shares data. Corrupted data can brick other players' games.
Legitimate Ways to Walk More / Earn Faster
"Walkies" route optimization: Learn the "?" present locations on each route. Hit all 3-4 per walk for max gifts/cash.
Disc competitions: Disk (Frisbee) trials give the best Trainer Points/minute. Master the throw timing.
Agility trials: Fastest way to unlock new breeds/areas.
Date skip (system clock): Advance the DS/3DS system date by 1 day → New "Walkies" available. Warning: Can mess up other time-based games (Animal Crossing, Pokémon). Use sparingly.
Bark Mode / StreetPass: Leave in sleep mode near other players for free gifts/trainer points.
The joy is the bond you build over real time. Rushing it defeats the purpose.
