Playing Final Fantasy VII Online? Original Is Single-Player Only—Alternatives Exist

The original Final Fantasy VII is single-player only. However, you can experience it with others via:

• FFVII Remake (PS4/PS5/PC): Single-player story with online Photo Mode sharing.
• FFVII: The First Soldier (Mobile): Battle royale set in the same universe, online multiplayer.
• Fan-Made Mods: Unofficial online mods for the original (unreliable, unsupported).
• Emulation + Streaming: Stream gameplay to friends (not true online play).

No traditional online multiplayer for the original, but alternatives exist.
