GameStop M-Rated Game Policy: Age Verification Required for Purchase

No, kids cannot buy M-rated games at GameStop.

GameStop strictly enforces ESRB ratings. M-rated = 17+.

• Employees are trained to check photo ID for anyone purchasing M-rated games.
• If the buyer cannot present valid ID proving age 17+, the sale is denied.

Parents should know ESRB ratings and supervise purchases. The system works when retailers follow policy.
