Merging WoW Accounts: Does It Allow Two People to Play Simultaneously? No

No. Account merging combines characters, gold, mounts, etc., from two Battle.net accounts into one account. It does not enable simultaneous play.

Why?

• WoW is single-session per account—only one login active at a time.
• Merged account = single license = one player.

To Play Together

• Two Separate Accounts: Each person buys game time/subscription.
• Recruit-A-Friend: Linked accounts grant bonus XP/mounts when playing together.
• Multi-boxing: One person controls multiple accounts (requires separate licenses, allowed with restrictions).

Sharing a merged account violates ToS and risks bans.
