Is Downloading Games from ourpcgame.net Legal? No—It's Piracy & Malware Risk

Almost Certainly Illegal & Unsafe

ourpcgame.net (and similar "free PC game download" sites) distribute cracked/pirated copies of copyrighted games. This is:

• Copyright Infringement: Violates DMCA (US), EUCD (EU), and laws globally.
• Malware Vector: Cracks/loaders often inject trojans, ransomware, coin-miners.
• No Support: No updates, no multiplayer, no cloud saves, broken DRM checks.
• Ethical Harm: Undermines developers—especially indies.

Legal Alternatives

• Steam / Epic / GOG / Ubisoft Connect / EA App / Battle.net / Microsoft Store: Legit, auto-updates, cloud, refunds.
• Free-to-Play: Fortnite, Apex, Warframe, Path of Exile, Dota 2, TF2—quality games, zero cost.
• Subscription: Xbox Game Pass (PC), EA Play, Ubisoft+, GeForce Now.
• Sales: Steam Sales, Humble Bundle, Fanatical, Green Man Gaming—50–90% off.
• Open Source / Freeware: itch.io, Game Jolt, GitHub—legal free games.
