Super Smash Flash: No Unlocks, Full Roster from Start

You can't unlock characters in Super Smash Flash. The fan-made browser games (SSF1 / SSF2 by McLeodGaming) have a fixed, fully unlocked roster from the start — no unlock system exists.

Why?

• Designed for instant accessibility (browser/Flash).
• No progression persistence (no save file for unlocks).
• Focus on competitive parity — everyone has equal access.

What You Can Do

• Pick any character immediately — Mario, Kirby, Sonic, Mega Man, etc.
• Explore movesets in Training / VS modes.
• Play SSF2 Beta (downloadable) for more chars/stages/mechanics.

If you want unlock progression, play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (World of Light, Challenger's Approach).
