Can You Get Internet Explorer on PS3?

No. PS3 runs a custom OS (CellOS) with a WebKit-based browser (similar to Safari 3/4 era). It cannot run Windows executables like Internet Explorer.

PS3 Browser Reality

• Engine: NetFront / WebKit (ancient). No HTML5 video, no modern JS (ES6+), no WebGL.
• Usable For: Text sites, Wikipedia, simple forums, PSN store redirect.
• Broken On: YouTube, Netflix, Twitch, Twitter/X, Reddit, banking, modern web.

Better Options for Web on TV

• PS4/PS5 Browser: Modern WebKit (still limited, but HTML5 video works).
• Smart TV / Streaming Stick: Fire Stick, Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku – full browser apps or screen mirror.
• Phone/PC → TV: Miracast, AirPlay, HDMI cable.
• PS3 Homebrew (CFW): webMAN MOD + Movian media player plays video files from USB/NET. Not a web browser. Requires HEN/CFW.

Don't browse on PS3. Use a phone.
