Where to Buy Used Video Games Instead

• GameStop: Largest dedicated used game retailer. Trade-in credit, warranties, Pro membership discounts.
• Local Pawn Shops: Hit or miss, but sometimes great deals on retro.
• Online Marketplaces: eBay (largest selection), Mercari (easy shipping), Facebook Marketplace (local, inspect first), OfferUp.
• Thrift Stores: Goodwill, Salvation Army, Savers – hidden gems at $1–$5, but untested.
• Retro Game Stores: Independent shops (often pricey but curated, tested).
• Conventions / Swap Meets: Retro gaming expos, flea markets.

Buying Used – Inspection Checklist

• Disc/cartridge: No deep scratches, clean contacts, label intact.
• Case/manual: Present? Condition?
• Test if possible (store demo, seller's console).
• Check return policy (GameStop: 7 days; eBay: Money Back Guarantee).

Play It Again Sports is for your soccer cleats, not your PS5 games.
