How to Get Unlimited Money in Pokemon: Emerald With GameShark

"Pokemon Emerald" players can use the GameShark cheat code device to unlock cheats and other features that can enhance your console gaming experience. The GameShark device uses hexadecimal editing to manipulate console game save states, changing aspects of the game that can't be done with ordinary cheats. Players can attach the GameShark to their Game Boy Advances and activate dozens of preloaded codes for "Pokemon Emerald," including "unlimited money" and other gameplay-enhancing cheat codes.

Instructions

  Insert the GameShark device into the game cartridge slot of the Game Boy Advance. Insert "Pokemon Emerald" into the slot located at the back on the GameShark device.

  Locate the GameShark's power switch on the device's right side. Set the power switch to the "On" position, then power on the Game Boy Advance.

  At the GameShark screen, wait for the device to automatically detect the game inserted into its cartridge slot and take you to the game's cheats list. If the game cannot be detected, use the directional pad to scroll up or down through the games list until you find "Pokemon Emerald." When found, press right on the directional pad to access the cheats list.

  Scroll up or down until you find the "Unlimited Cash" cheat. Press the "A" button to activate the cheat. The cheat name will flash when it is activated. If the cheat is not present, scroll to "Add New Cheat" and use the directional pad and "A" button to enter "Unlimited Cash" as the new cheat name. Press "Start" to save the name. At the "Add New Cheat Code" screen, enter the following hexadecimal codes into the GameShark:

  When finished, press "Start" to save your changes. Press the "A" button to activate the cheat at the "Cheats List" screen.

  Press "Start" after activating the desired cheats to load "Pokemon Emerald" onto the Game Boy Advance with the activated cheat. Once you start the game, you should have an unlimited amount of money.
