How to Transfer an iTouch to a PS3

If you connect your Apple iPod Touch (also called the "iTouch") to your Sony PlayStation 3, you can listen to all of your favorite songs through the console from your TV. You can also copy those songs directly to the PS3&'s internal hard drive, allowing you to listen to those songs whenever you&'d like even if the iPod Touch is not present. This copy process can be completed in minutes.

  Connect your iPod Touch to your Sony PlayStation 3 by plugging the device&'s USB cable into both your iPod Touch and one of the USB inputs on your Sony PS3.

  Turn on your PS3 and iPod Touch.

  Select "Music" from your PS3&'s main menu.

  Select "USB," then "Device" from your PS3&'s "Music" menu.

  Press the "Triangle" PS3 controller button. Select "Copy" to copy an individual song to your PS3&'s internal hard drive. Select "Copy Multiple" to copy all of the music on your iPod Touch to your PS3&'s internal hard drive.
