Keyboard Controls for Right Analog Stick in God of War 2 (PC)

God of War 2 was designed for controllers and lacks native keyboard support for analog stick functions. However, several workarounds exist:

1. Controller Emulation Software

  • Tools: Xpadder, JoyToKey, reWASD, or AntiMicroX.
  • How it works: Map keyboard keys (e.g., arrow keys, IJKL) to right-stick axes.
  • Pros: Precise control; works with most games.
  • Cons: Requires setup; may need tweaking per game.

2. Keyboard Camera Controls (If Supported)

  • Some PC ports allow WASD or arrow keys for camera movement.
  • Check in-game settings under "Keyboard/Mouse" or "Camera" options.
  • Pros: No extra software.
  • Cons: Rare in PS2-era ports; less intuitive than analog.

3. Mouse Control (Unlikely for GoW2)

  • Few PS2-to-PC ports support mouse for camera.
  • Test in settings; if absent, emulation is your best bet.

Recommendation

Use reWASD or AntiMicroX (free) to map right-stick to keys. For authentic experience, a gamepad (Xbox, DualShock, or 8BitDo) is ideal.
