Does Hitman (PC) Require a Dedicated Graphics Card? Yes, Absolutely.

Mandatory Requirement

You cannot play Hitman (2016) or Hitman 2/3 (World of Assassination) on PC without a discrete GPU. Integrated graphics (Intel UHD, Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Vega) will not launch the game or will run at <1 FPS.

Why a GPU Is Non-Negotiable

• Rendering Complexity: Large, detailed sandbox levels (Paris, Sapienza, Miami, Dubai) with hundreds of NPCs, dynamic lighting, cloth physics, and reflections.
• Glacier Engine Demands: IO Interactive's engine is built for deferred rendering, compute shaders, and async compute—features absent in integrated graphics.
• Official Minimum Specs:
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 / AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB VRAM)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6350
  • RAM: 8GB
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
• Recommended (1080p/60 High): GTX 1070 / RX 580 8GB / RTX 2060 Super.

If You Only Have Integrated Graphics

• Cloud Gaming: Xbox Cloud Gaming (Game Pass Ultimate), GeForce NOW, Boosteroid stream Hitman to any device with a browser/app.
• Upgrade: Even a used GTX 1050 Ti / RX 570 ($80–$120) meets minimum.

No workaround exists for running Hitman natively on integrated graphics. A dedicated GPU is essential.
