Multilingual PC Scrabble Games – Where to Find

True simultaneous multilingual Scrabble (one board, multiple dictionaries) doesn't exist commercially. Here's what's available:

1. Official Digital Scrabble (Hasbro / Mattel / Scopely)

  • Scrabble® GO (Mobile/PC via BlueStacks): Dictionary selector per match: English (US/UK), French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Catalan, Arabic, Hebrew. One language per game.
  • Scrabble on Steam (Ubisoft, 2020): English only (NWL2020 / CSW19). No language switch.
  • Pogo / EA Scrabble (Legacy, shut down): Had French/Spanish options.

2. Open-Source / Community Clients (Best for Multilingual)

  • Crossword / Scrabble3D (Java, Cross-platform): Loads multiple dictionaries simultaneously — configure language per player or merge word lists. Supports 50+ languages (ODS, Zingarelli, SOWPODS, etc.).
  • Quackle (AI + Human, C++): Tournament-grade; custom lexicons.
  • Lexulous (Web): Formerly Scrabulous; supports CSW, TWL, French, Italian dictionaries per table.
  • Woogles.io (Web, Real-time): OWL/CSW/ODS; no mixed-language tables.

3. DIY: Merge Word Lists

  1. Download word lists (e.g., English, French, Spanish).
  2. Concatenate → deduplicate → save as custom.dic.
  3. Load into Scrabble3D or Quackle as custom dictionary.
  4. Agree on scoring: standard English values? per-language? hybrid?

Physical Multilingual Play

Use Scrabble Deluxe (Mattel) with separate tile bags per language — draw from agreed bag each turn. House-rule scoring.

For true polyglot Scrabble: Scrabble3D + custom merged dictionary on PC.
