Need for Speed: Most Wanted on PS2? No—It Skipped the Platform

Platforms for NFS: Most Wanted (2005)

Why No PS2 Version?

• EA focused on "next-gen" launch (360/PS3) and handheld ports (PSP/DS).
• PS2 architecture struggled with the new engine's streaming open world.
• Need for Speed: Carbon (2006) did release on PS2 (downported).
