Scribblenauts: Can You Blow Things Up With Blots?

No. In Scribblenauts (DS/3DS/Wii U/PC), "blots" (ink blots) are purely a drawing tool in the level editor or a visual effect—they have no physics, damage, or explosive properties.

How "Destruction" Works in Scribblenauts

  • Adjectives: Write "explosive barrel", "TNT", "C4", "nuke" → they detonate on trigger/impact.
  • Objects: "black hole" deletes everything. "acid" dissolves. "fire" burns flammables.
  • @ Method (Unlimited/Unmasked): Type @explosion or @destroy for instant screen-clear (debug).

Creative "Blot" Uses

  • Draw a crater shape → apply "decal" adjective → looks like an explosion aftermath.
  • Spawn "ink" + "explosive" → ink splatters on detonation.

The series rewards noun + adjective creativity, not drawing-tool combat. Write "giant flaming meteor" instead.
