How Many Army of Two Games Are There? Three Main + One Mobile
There are three main games in the Army of Two series, plus one mobile spin-off:
Main Series (Console/PC)
Army of Two (2008) — PS3, Xbox 360. Introduced Rios & Salem, Aggro system, weapon customization.
Army of Two: The 40th Day (2010) — PS3, Xbox 360, PSP (separate version). Shanghai setting, moral choices, improved co-op mechanics.
Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel (2013) — PS3, Xbox 360. Reboot. New protagonists (Alpha & Bravo), Frostbite 2 engine, destructible environments, no Rios/Salem as playable.
Spin-Off
Army of Two: The 40th Day – Special Forces Edition (2010) — Java/BREW Mobile (feature phones). Top-down shooter, different story. Not on smartphones.
Key Notes
All three main games support 2-player co-op (split-screen local + online).
The Devil's Cartel removed the "Aggro" mechanic and "Partner AI" commands, leaning more arcade.
No PC port for The 40th Day or Devil's Cartel (only the first game is on PC via Steam/EA App).
Servers for online co-op were shut down ~2016–2017. LAN/System Link/Tunnel (XLink Kai, Parsec) still works.
