Using the Costume Modifier in Super Scribblenauts

Super Scribblenauts doesn't use traditional cheat codes. Instead, its "cheat" system revolves around Modifiers—adjectives typed alongside an object's name to alter its properties.

How the "Costume" Modifier Works

The Costume modifier attaches a specific outfit to any summoned object. For example:

• Typing "Knight Costume" adds knight armor to the object.
• "Astronaut Costume" equips a space suit.
• "Clown Costume" gives a colorful clown outfit.

You can combine it with other adjectives: "Giant Flying Knight Costume" creates a massive, airborne armored object.

Tips for Experimentation

• The possibilities are vast. Try pairing "Costume" with professions, animals, or fantasy concepts.
• Use the in-game notebook. It suggests modifiers as you type.
• Check community wikis. Sites like Scribblenauts Fandom list hundreds of confirmed modifier combinations.

A Note on "Cheating"

Modifiers are an intended, core game mechanic—not an exploit. Using them is how you solve puzzles creatively. For maximum fun, experiment freely before looking up solutions.
