The Sims 3 Money Cheats: How to Use 'motherlode' and 'money' Commands

Enable cheats first, then use money commands:

1. Open Cheat Console:
   • PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
   • Mac: Cmd + Shift + C
   • Console (PS3/Xbox 360): L1+L2+R1+R2 (simultaneously)
2. Enable Testing Cheats: Type testingcheatsenabled true → Enter.
3. Add Money:
   • motherlode → Enter = +50,000 Simoleons (repeatable).
   • money <amount> → Enter = Set exact household funds (e.g., money 1000000).

Notes

• Works in Live Mode & Build/Buy.
• familyfunds <familyname> <amount> targets specific household.
• Achievements (console) may disable.
• Overuse trivializes gameplay — consider budgeting mods instead.
