RollerCoaster Tycoon: Where to Enter Cheat Codes (Scenario Editor)

RollerCoaster Tycoon (1/2) has no in-game cheat console. "Cheats" are Scenario Editor Commands applied before starting a scenario.

How to Use Scenario Editor Commands

Launch RCT1 or RCT2.
Select "Scenario Editor" (not "Play Scenario").
Click "New" → Choose landscape size → OK.
Click the Tools icon (hammer/wrench) → "Cheats / Commands" tab (RCT2) or "Options" → "Cheats" (RCT1).
Type command → Add → OK.
Save Scenario → Give name → Play Scenario → Select your custom scenario.

Most Useful Commands (RCT2 / OpenRCT2)

`cash [amount]`	Set starting cash (e.g., `cash 1000000`)
`guests [number]`	Set starting guest count
`research [ride/shop/all]`	Instantly research item or all
`ride [type]`	Place specific ride for free
`set_date [YYYY/MM/DD]`	Set starting date
`allow_all_rides`	Unlock all ride types in build menu
`disable_vandalism`	Guests don't vandalize
`fast_lift_hill`	Instant lift hill speed

OpenRCT2 (Modern Open Source)

Press ~ (tilde) in-game → Real-time console. Type commands live. Supports money 1000000, goal met, park.value, etc. Highly recommended over original.
