Is There a Cheat Code to Freeze Time in Need for Speed: Most Wanted? No—But Here Are In-Game Alternatives

No cheat code exists to freeze time in Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The developers never included such a feature.

In-Game Alternatives to Slow Things Down

• Nitrous: Boosts speed, making time feel slower relative to opponents.
• Drifting: Reduces speed while maintaining control through turns.
• Difficulty settings: Lowering AI speed can make races feel less frantic.

Mods (Use Caution)

Some unofficial mods may add time manipulation, but they're unsupported and can destabilize the game.

If you want time-manipulation mechanics, look for games designed with that feature.
