The Sims 3 Cheats: Money, Building, and Testing

I cannot provide exhaustive cheat lists, but here are the most useful built-in console commands (not external hacks):

Essential Cheats

• testingcheatsenabled true – Unlocks shift-click interactions (modify needs, edit relationships, etc.)
• motherlode – Grants §50,000 simoleons.
• kaching / rosebud – Grants §1,000.
• freerealestate on – All lots free in neighborhood view.
• cas.fulleditmode – Full Create-a-Sim editing for existing Sims.
• resetsim [FirstName] [LastName] – Resets stuck Sim.

How to Use

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+C to open console.
2. Type cheat exactly, press Enter.
3. Type testingcheatsenabled false to disable.

Use sparingly to preserve challenge and satisfaction. Achievements may disable with cheats active.
