Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii) — No Cheat Codes Exist

Animal Crossing: City Folk has no cheat code entry system. No button combos, no password screen, no Action Replay support (codes exist but crash saves).

Why?

• Real-time clock / server-synced events = cheats desync world state.
• Nintendo's design: patience & routine = reward.

Legitimate Fast-Track Methods

1. Time Travel (System Clock): Wii Settings → Date/Time → Advance 1 day. Risks: Weeds, villagers move out, turnips rot, cockroaches. Use sparingly.
2. Money Rock: Hit daily with shovel (dig holes behind you for recoil) → 8,100 Bells.
3. Turnip Market (Stalk Market): Buy Sun AM, check prices 2x/day. Sell high. Use Turnip Prophet calculator.
4. Beetle/Fish Farming: Summer nights (7pm–12am) → Palm trees = Hercules/Dynastid/Stag beetles (8k–12k each).
5. Fruit Stacking: Plant non-native fruit → harvest every 3 days → 3k–5k per tree.
6. Visitor Shopping: Friends' Nook's Cranny may have better tools/furniture.

Homebrew (Advanced, Wii U vWii / Wii)

• ACTool / Save Editor: Edit bells, items, catalog. High risk of ban if online. Offline only.

Animal Crossing rewards daily ritual. Time travel once to catch up, then play legit.
