Fallout 3 Cheats: Console Commands, Mods & Trainers (PC) – No Cheats on Console

No Traditional Cheat Codes – But Powerful PC Tools Exist

The console versions (PS3, Xbox 360) have no cheat system. On PC, you have three tiers:

1. Developer Console (Built-In)

Press ~ (tilde) in-game. Commands:

• tgm – Toggle God Mode
• tcl – Toggle No-Clip
• player.additem 0000000f [amt] – Add caps (gold)
• player.setav health 9999 – Set health
• coc [cellID] – Teleport
• unlock – Unlock targeted terminal/door

Disables achievements on that save.

2. Mods (Nexus Mods / Vortex / MO2)

• FWE / FOOK / MMM: Overhauls adding weapons, balance, world content.
• Cheat Mods: "Cheat Terminal," "Simple Cheats" – menus for god mode, infinite ammo, XP.
• Unofficial Patch: Fixes hundreds of bugs – essential.

3. External Trainers (WeMod, FLiNG, Cheat Happens)

Hotkeys for god mode, infinite AP, no reload, stealth, etc. Risk: game updates break trainers; some flagged by AV.

Recommendation

Play vanilla first. Use console for stuck quests. Mods for replayability. Trainers only for sandbox fooling around.
