Action Replay Codes on GBA Emulator (TV Play): Won't Work — Use Emulator Cheats

Action Replay codes won't work on GBA emulators. Action Replay is a physical cartridge that interfaces with real GBA hardware. Emulators simulate hardware differently — no physical slot exists.

Working Alternatives

• Emulator built-in cheats: Most (mGBA, VBA-M, RetroArch) have cheat menus supporting .cht/.clt files.
• ROM hacks: Pre-patched ROMs with cheats/mods built-in (search "Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire ROM hacks").
• Play legit: Games are balanced for challenge without cheats.

Search "[your emulator] cheat codes" for specific setup instructions.
