The Sims 2 Pets (DS): Money Cheats Don't Exist

Despite persistent rumors, there are no functional cheat codes for money in The Sims 2 Pets on Nintendo DS. The "L+R" combo cited in forums works in other Sims titles (like the PC version's testingcheats) but does nothing here.

Why Cheats Are Absent

• The DS port is a streamlined, standalone codebase without a developer console or cheat handler.
• Action Replay codes for infinite money were never reliably documented for this specific SKU.
• Using flashcart cheats often corrupts the save file, wiping your progress.

Legitimate Ways to Earn Simoleons Fast

• High-Paying Careers: Promote quickly by fulfilling wants and skill requirements.
• Sell Crafted Items: Use the crafting station to make and sell high-value goods.
• Complete Wants/Fears: Fulfilling wants gives aspiration rewards and cash bonuses.
• Time Management: Keep needs high to avoid productivity loss.

Embrace the grind—the sense of progression is the core loop. Cheats would bypass the only gameplay there is.
