Cheat Codes for NFL Blitz (Gameball / NFLRZ)?

There are no cheat codes for NFL Blitz (any version: Arcade, N64, PS1, Dreamcast, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, Blitz: The League).

The developers (Midway) intentionally omitted cheat menus to preserve the arcade "quarter-munching" balance and competitive integrity. "Gameball" and "NFLRZ" appear to be community nicknames or misremembered terms (NFL Blitz 2000 had "Game Ball" as a power-up).

How to Dominate Legitimately (The Real "Cheats")

• Master the "Blitz" Button (Turbo): Hold it before the snap on defense for instant shed/block shed. On offense, tap it at the line for speed burst.
• Late Hits Are Legal (Encouraged): Hit the QB after the throw for free fumbles/injuries. No penalty.
• Playbook Knowledge:
  • Offense: "Da Bomb" (4 verts), "Hail Mary", "Flea Flicker" (run then pass). Audible to these vs Cover 2/3.
  • Defense: "Blitz All" / "Cover 0" – send 7–8 rushers. User the MLB/Safety to spy QB.
• Character Creation (Blitz 2001/2002/2003/Pro): Max Speed & Agility for skill positions. Max Strength for OL/DL. "Created Player" glitch (name "M. Vick" etc.) unlocks max stats in some versions.
• Fireball / Da Bomb Cheats (Unlockables): Enter codes at Team Select / Main Menu for hidden teams/stadiums (not gameplay cheats):
  • NFL Blitz 2000 (N64): Hold L+R+Z, press C-Up, C-Down, C-Left, C-Right, A, B.
  • Blitz 2001 (PS1/N64): Similar combos unlock "Midway" team, "Developers" team.

Blitz is about aggression. Blitz hard, hit late, throw deep. That's the code.
